THE SOUND OF MELANIE MAKELA - 

Melanie Makela is a fiddler and step dancer from Sudbury, Ontario. Her musical roots are in Ottawa Valley fiddling and step dancing. She has also explored various Canadian fiddle styles and has recently begun dabbling in international folk styles. Most recently, she has been working on developing her own style through her debut album "Something Up My Sleeve", a compilation of original tunes.
